1. BAO SHENG DURIAN FARM
Bao Sheng Durian Farm, which is located in Teluk Bahang, Penang, is a popular choice among travelers. This farm provides education of the type of durians and pesticide-free farming methods in producing high-quality durians. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this farm for a day or to stay onsite in their villas beneath the trees.
2. EIGHT ACRES
Eight Acres is a 8-acres orchard and it consists of plenty of durian trees. If you are here during the durian season, you would get to pick and eat them as soon as they are ripe for a minimal fee. There are two main varieties of durians which you can get here which is the Musang King and D24. One thing that Eight Acres can be proud is that their fruits are grown without any use of pesticides.
3. GREEN ACRES ORCHARD & ECOLODGE
Green Acres is a 16-acre orchard and organically preserved farm located in Balik Pulau, Penang. It is located 250 metres above sea level and it has its own spring water source and natural stream. The farm has been kept free of chemicals for over 50 years and you’ll be amazed with their 450 matured durian trees and some are between 80 to 100 years old.
4. KARAK ORGANIC DURIAN FARM
Karak Organic Durian Farm is located not far from Klang Valley and it is where durians are grown organically. This is perhaps a great place for you to find delicious durians which are free from any chemical and they use only natural fertilizer to grow the best organic durians. In addition, they also offer other variety of tropical fruits such as rambutans, mangosteen, duku and langsat.
5. KULAI ZHONG CHENG DURIAN PLANTATION
At less than 50km from the Causeway checkpoint, there is another durian plantation which serves silky smooth local durians. It is a great place especially for durian-lovers to pay a visit and give it a try. No worries if you don’t enjoy durians much because there are other fruits available such as guava and dragon fruit.
6. RAUB DURIAN ORCHARD
Raub Durian Orchard claims to serve the best durians in Pahang. Besides the quality of the durians, this orchard is probably the only durian orchard in the country that is also equipped with a fishing pond, a bee farm, as well as a bird’s nest farm.
7. SIM KOA YEN
Sim Koa Yen is located in Machap District, Malacca. There are almost 30 types of durians which can be found here. Besides, a variety of tropical fruits such as jackfruit, dragon fruit and more can be found here. Before you pay a visit to this farm, make sure you set an appointment first. Tras Durian Farmstay is a 23-acre orchard and located in Raub, Pahang. This place is surrounded by river and the forest where you can carry out activities such as fishing, jungle trekking, cycling and more with your friends and family. The great view of the forest will surely leave you in awe, especially during the fruiting season when you can get to observe the falling durians.
9. 1 MALAYSIA MUSANG KING
The story of 1 Malaysia Musang King Durian Orchard Farm began a few years ago when Dato Michael Ng, which is the owner of this farm, bought the place for his durian-loving wife. The types of durians which you can find here are Musang King, D24, D88, D2, D101, and kampong durian. There are also other tropical fruits which are available in this farm such as rambutan, pulasan, mangosteen, cempedak, mango and more.
