Cameronian Chalet

The " Chalet 2-pax Room " & " Chalet 4-pax Room " are 2 of the rooms available at Cameronian Inn, a family run Backpackers-style Lodge located at Tanah Rata town centre offering simple room accommodations.

(a) The " Chalet 2-pax Room " has 1 King-size bed for 2 persons.  The total floor area is about 200 square feet. The attached bathroom has hot shower & sitting toilet facilities.  Additional fixtures are a TV with Astro Simple Njoi Package, dresser, cupboard, settee & seating furniture on the veranda at the front.  There is a short flight of stairs to climb to get to the room.   

Not available in the room:  WiFi connection, tea/coffee making facilities, electric kettle, hairdryer & iron with ironing board.  There is no daily room cleaning service for short stay.

(b) The " Chalet 4-pax Room " has beds for 4 persons, it has 2 sleeping areas: ground floor sleeping area plus a sleeping

loft on the 2nd floor. There is no privacy between the 2 sleeping areas as there is no partition wall/door between them.

The stairs to the sleeping loft are not child-proof.

The total floor area is about 350 square feet. There are 1 Queen-size bed on the ground floor & either 1 Queen-size bed or 2 Single-size beds on the 2nd floor.

There is only 1 attached bathroom ( hot shower &

sitting toilet ) on the ground floor.

Additional fixtures are TV ( 1 only on the ground floor ) with Astro Simple Njoi Package, cupboard, dresser, settee & seating furniture on the veranda at the front.

Both rooms are " No Smoking  & No Animal Pets " allowed.

Check-in time is from 2pm to 9pm.  Check-out time is by 11am.

WiFi is available in the common areas only, Hotspot is near Reception/Front Desk. 

Limited parking spaces are available inside our compound on  first-come-first-park-at-your-own-risk basis.  There are free street parking spaces outside our compound.

Direction to our location:  We are located at Tanah Rata town centre, about 250 meters away from the Main Street.  Look for Maybank, a corner shop in a 4-storey shops-block off Main Street.  At Maybank, walk/ride/drive towards to the other end of the same row of shops ( the end corner shop is Highlands Optical ), then turn left & follow our brown directional " Cameronian Inn " signboard at the T-junction further in.  Opposite Maybank is the Cameron Fair Shopping Centre ( opening soon ).  It is about 325 meters from Maybank to our location.
