The Neem

The Neem is a quaint collection of four rustic chalets that were once workers’ living quarters of a Dutch Colonial coconut plantation belonging to one of the last Dutch Governors of Malacca.

Sit outside your chalet and you will feel the cross breeze blowing from the coastal areas or the interiors of Melaka. Listen to the rustling of leaves from the many trees around which by itself envelops one with an immense sense of peace, serenity and tranquility.  

The cool shade from the numerous trees at Dutch Heritage Chalets offer many a weary traveller a place to seek shelter and solace from the sultry afternoon sun of historical Melaka.

The Cocos, Ketapang, Kemboja and Ixora have been named according to the trees already found on the grou.  Interestingly enough, all four chalets have their own unique characteristics and personalities in terms of size, layout, furniture and niche areas for personal rest and recreation.

Sleeping arrangements:

Unit 1: 1 king sized bed for 2 pax

Unit 2: 2 bunk beds for 4 pax

Unit 3: 2 bunk beds for 4 pax

No extra bed to be added in the rooms

All rooms air conditioned, Free parking, WIFI in the building

No. of guests: 12 Pax

The bathroom and toilet are attached with the unit.

Sleeping arrangements: (4 rooms in total)

Unit 1: 2 king sized beds, 1 single floor
mattress for 5 pax

Unit 2: 1 king sized bed, 1 single floor mattress
for 3 pax

Unit 3: 1 king sized bed for 2 pax

Unit 4: 1 king sized bed for 2 pax

Kemboja + Ketapang + Cocos + Ixora 

Rules and regulation

• Pets are not allowed.
• Office Hour : 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
• Child below 8 may share bed with adults. One child per king sized bed.
• No wearing t-shirt in the swimming pool. Only proper swimming attire.
