Our grand old mansion, standing since 1883, bears witness to a time when the British influence infused with local Baba Nyonya and Chinese cultures, painting a unique multicultural landscape. This architectural gem was reborn from the ashes after the unfortunate events of World War II when it was bombed by the Japanese forces in a tragic case of misidentification, mistaking the row of trishaws for cannons.

Resurrected in 1959, the building's story took an unexpected turn, transforming into an infamous red-light district and a hub for notorious gangster activity, reminiscent of scenes from the movie 'Dragon Inn.' This phase, while darker, added another intriguing layer to its colorful history.
