Alun Retreat

We recently booked the Family Beachfront cabin for 5D4N, we really enjoyed our stay there. What we loved: 1. The simplicity of the establishment - It's small (14 cabins?) and it's very well-kept. The grounds are clean, always. They provide basic breakfast (which is more than good enough for us) with fantastic view. 2. Cabin design is very compact but complete and well-thought-out. 3. Good soundproofing - I've stayed at other container hotels before but Alun seems to have better soundproofing. Closing the glass door blocks out quite a bit of external sounds. 4. Proximity to the sea - it's literally right in front of my doorstep. 5. Greenery - We loved the big trees scattered around the grounds. Walk along the beach and you get even more big old trees. 6. The staff - We had the pleasure of being attended to by Zarina and Haza. They were both so lovely, always attentive and helpful, friendly and warm. Zarina even helped calm my son when he was crying at checkout. 7. No alcohol policy - Rules out rowdy guests. Things to consider: 1. Outsiders were walking through Alun Retreat freely to get to the beach. This didn't bother me much, however because my room was closest to the beach, they often used the tap outside my room to wash their feet on the way out. On a few occasions, they left the water running and I had to go out to turn it off. I also saw them littering on the grounds. 2. The room gets 'sandy' quickly, may be a good idea to include a broom in each cabin. 3. More clothes hangers always help, especially in family cabins.

A Truly Unforgettable Getaway in Alun Retreat I recently had the pleasure of spending my vacation in Alun Retreat , and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with stunning landscapes and an atmosphere of pure relaxation The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had an incredible view of beach ( literally just walk 5 steps then i can swim at the beach 😂 ) The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, offering personalised service and making sure every detail was perfect , akak reception was really baikk with me from the moment i whatsapp till i arrived . They provide breakfast which is really good . Last minute i request to extend my check out day and they respond really well . Overall love stay here ❤️ I'll definitely come again !

Very clean and 5 stars rated by me.. service is excellent and free breakfast beside the beach you can walk anywhere from here. Surroundings a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

Highly recommended. Room cabin is cozy, air conditioning is working well and toilet is clean and sanitised. We booked the family cabin it is the nearest to the beach. View is superb, we enjoyed kayaking and walking along the beach. Breakfast is satisfactory and coffee machine is available. Will repeat insyallah.

Great place on the island! One of the coolest, great service, nicely furnished cottages, there is everything you need, very tasty breakfasts, next to the beach, close to everything. recommended!
